Glastonbury Little League offers a comprehensive, age-appropriate baseball program designed to teach core skills, promote teamwork, and foster a love of the game for players of all experience levels. The program is structured into divisions that align with each stage of player development, ensuring that athletes build confidence and ability as they grow.

Tee Ball (Ages 4–6)

Our entry-level Tee Ball division introduces young players to the fundamentals of baseball in a fun, supportive environment. The focus is on basic skills such as throwing, catching, hitting off a tee, and learning the rules of the game. Practices and games emphasize enjoyment, motor-skill development, and teamwork in a non-competitive setting.

Minors – Coach Pitch (Ages 7–8)

In the Coach Pitch division, players continue skill development while beginning to experience more game-like play. Coaches pitch to help maintain consistent hitting opportunities, allowing players to build confidence at the plate. Athletes work on improving fielding, base running, and understanding in-game situations, while still enjoying a positive, instructional atmosphere.

Minors – Player Pitch (Ages 9–10)

At the Player Pitch level, athletes take on additional responsibilities and experience a higher level of competition. Players begin pitching, catchers develop core defensive skills behind the plate, and games follow more advanced Little League rules. This division focuses on refining mechanics, improving decision-making, and preparing players for the transition to the Majors division.

Majors (Ages 11–12)

The Majors division features a full Little League baseball experience, including competitive play, player-led gameplay, and opportunities for postseason tournaments. Athletes continue to advance their technical skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship while facing opponents from across the region. This division represents a key developmental stage and is often considered the pinnacle of the traditional Little League experience.

Juniors (Ages 13–16)

The Juniors division provides older players with the chance to compete on a larger field using standard baseball dimensions. The program emphasizes advanced skill development, strategic play, and preparation for high school–level baseball.
